TV Tuesday

I am a TV lover. If a clip of a TV show catches my attention, I always give it a chance and most of the time they do not disappoint. Sometimes they do (ahem.. Smash). One of these TV shows started with a bang and has done nothing but be amazing since. Every episode grabs (and messes) with your brain and leaves you wanting more, yet hanging on by a thread. An emotional rollercoaster, this show is a must see for everyone. I have gotten my friends into it and my entire family watches it without fail.
Thats right- Scandal! This political drama has caught the attention of most of the nation.... raking in record breaking views each week. Twitter blows up on #ScandalThursday when fans , deemed "gladiators", sit down and experience what the clever writers have woven together. Keep up or you'll be left behind!

The cast is amazing. Each character having their own attitude and distinct down to business style. Kerry Washington is spectacular. Her wardrobe even more spectacular. And the President, known as "Fitz"? Hello hunk!! What a hottie!
Am I right? Tony Goldwyn is truly amazing to look at and yes, even to watch.

So what are you waiting for... got hit the computer and get absorbed into the Scandal family. Soon enough you'll be a gladiator! If you are a fan... whose your favorite character? Don't kill more for saying this but Mellie is my current favorite. I do love a girl whose honest!

Happy Watching!

Sunday at the theater!

This weekend my wonderful father surprised the family with tickets to see Jersey Boys. I cannot rave enough about it. My mom, dad, brother and I continue to talk about how amazing it was and we would hands down see it again today. I would have seen it right after I saw it the first time. It was so entertaining- not once was I bored and I was dreading the end because I didn't want to leave. Honestly, it is money well spent and you should splurge because our family had so much fun. One for the memories!

We have seen many many plays (a sort of O'Donnell tradition) and we all agreed this is the top three... we would see it again. Further, I forced my dad to buy the soundtrack that I am happily listening to while I write this post. Clearly, you get our obsession.

The ticket immediately went up on my bulletin board (filled with other pictures as you can see) as a reminder of how much fun it was!

The beautiful theater in Boston. Zach and I continued to debate whether people sit in the balcony seats at all. We have never seen anyone in all our times there!

The ceiling... it is even more gorgeous in person. Below is the stage that was so cleverly manipulated to fit the different areas the characters traveled too.

Snowstorm mania

Surviving a snowstorm in college is no small thing. We went on mandatory lock down starting at 7pm until this morning. Whipping winds and piling snow meant a never ending sound of plows throughout the night. Have no fear the Dominos man still delivered and fell through the un-shoveled snow to get his tip. Bean boots were lining the dorm halls and slumber parties took the place of partying. Nemo kicked our butts this morning on the way to breakfast, but alas we returned with very wet feet and full tummies. Though its an enormous hassle I dare say that snowstorm Nemo has been kind of fun and definitely one for the memory record books.

This was at the beginning of the night- look at how much snow!

The dominos man... there was a no drive rule implemented by the governor.. delivery man did not care! (ignore the screen in this picture!)

One happy customer!

snow piling up our window... it was to the halfway mark this morning! Below- slumber party mania! It included lots of Say Yes to the Dress and lounging around!

National Brother Day

Happy National Brother Day! Who knew this day even existed? I sure as heck didn't, but one of the best parts of America is we celebrate everything. We celebrate Mothers, Fathers, independence, Jesus' birth, so it only seems fitting we should celebrate our siblings!

Cheers to my brother who is my best friend purely because he is my only relation by blood. He is a pretty awesome guy for many reasons. For instance, he has phenomanal style. I mean have you ever seen someone put the above combonation of colors (and backwards hat) together in such a dashing way... I think not. Note he keeps it classy by wearing a tie and watch even though he is not in the office. LADIES.. he is single.

In case that didn't grab your heart he is also great with kids. This is a sure way to get any girls heart. Above he is with his greatest admirer, Nick, our wonderfully cute cousin. Good with children... check. Melt my heart. LADIES... he is single (just in case you forgot!)

To my favorite brother (not just because you are my only)- you are the best. Thanks for answering every g-chat every single day despite that fact that you are annoyed and busy at work. Thanks for always watching movies with me even when I whine until you let us watch a romantic comedy. Cheers to many more memories! Hopefully none of them including you killing me for your relationship status reveal.

Much love-
Caroline

Welcome to blogging...

One of my new years resolutions was to start a blog. My biggest fears included no one reading it, me making a fool of myself, or getting negative comments. However, I have decided that I could care less what others think and at least I will always have family who reads. Since typing is so much quicker than writing, this blog is the perfect place to capture random thoughts, adventures, struggles, and excitment in my life to look back on as I get older.

So cheers to blogging. I have got some great ideas... I think you'll like them! So kick up your feet and stay awhile!
